Welcome to the website of Jitsu New Zealand. Jitsu New Zealand is a progressive martial arts organization teaching Shorinji Kan Ju Jitsu and Olivecrona Ju Jitsu, and is recognized by the national body New Zealand Ju Jitsu Federation (NZJJF). We acknowledge the history and practice of traditional martial arts, but place them in a modern setting for a modern changing society. This site provides information on our association, and our style of JuJitsu.

 

Many people come to Jitsu New Zealand to learn Self Defense, others may have different fitness, technical or spiritual goals. We will help you to strive to reach them, though they will all require effort, hard work and commitment. We pride ourselves in providing a friendly and inspiring place to train in our art.

 

New participants, whether experienced martial artists or complete beginners, are always welcome. Please feel free to stop by at any class, any time of year, to see if Ju Jitsu is what you are looking for.
